Geographical boundaries: Yasin valley is part of district Ghizer in Gilgit-Baltistan Province. It is located to the north-west of Gilgit city (the headquarters of Gilgit-Baltistan). From South to North: Silliharang village to the village of Darkut, connecting Yasin valley with Broghil valley of upper Chitral. To the west is Thui Ann/thui pass, connecting Yasin valley with Yarkhun valley of upper Chitral and Nazbur Ann/pass, south west of Yasin valley connecting Yasin valley to Mastuj Chitral and to the west Shamaran valley of Phander. To the North East is Attar pass connecting Darkut village with Ishkomen valley. To the East is Asumber pass connecting Yasin valley to the main Ishkomen valley and Qurqorlti pass is connecting Yasin valley with Darmandar valley.
