Zone information
Zone code: IND-ZAN-ZMT-Zo01
Zamthang
Char Zampa
Zone is in the Lungnak valley at the Cha bridge.
Inhabitants of the only house on the plateau know about the petroglyphs. Dagon Rimpoche spoke about the site in public during one of his stays at Padum Pothang, associating the petroglyphs with spontaneous apparitions and giving them a religious status. According to Norbu, a team carried out a tracing of the slab in 1994-95 (Klodzinski or Mascle?). Norbu remembered the name Frankfurt.
